Henessy crowns the King of the Road
Henessy King of the Road event was held last Wednesday night at the Shooting Gallery Studio in Makati City, Philippines. The event set up was so chic and modish. We all enjoyed the curated menu from Manila's best chefs, JP Anglo of Kafe Batwan and Jordy Navarra of the soon to open Toyo Eatery. The food was so good and the chefs really gave an excellent urban interpretation of the Pinoy local cuisine.
Of course there were over flowing drinks and I had to try them all! Hahaha! My personal favorite was the "Habal Habal" (one person-jeepney) the drink consists of the yummiest ingredients which made the drink unique. They used black pepper infused Hennessy VS, coupled with bay leaf, honey, calamansi, and ginger beer, served in a highball glass. And trust me, it was AMAZING.
I had such a great time with my blogger friends too! We were all able to bond and hang out with matching delicious Henessy drinks, good music, "pulutan" + art and a gorgeous crowd.
The Henessy launched the King of the Road, the Jeepney which is an iconic urban symbol of Filipinos. The design of the King of the Road was so sophisticated and dashing with the sleek matte black exteriors and gold details. The Hennessy Jeepney was reflective of the emblematic heritage brand that Hennessy has built over the past 250 years, ultimately making its step in embracing local Philippine culture.
Every one loved the music of Curtis Smith, CRWN, BP Valenzuela, Kidthrones and The Diegos. The live art of street artist Egg Fiasco was also featured that night and it was impeccable. Henessy really expressed their love for local culture. Proud to be Pinoy!
My Beautiful Blogger friends and event buddies :)
