Breakfast Smoothie: Mango Oats


My first healthy recipe! It's really easy and fun to make. 

I had a long day today, I was already running late for an early meeting and I also did a quick shoot (which I'm absolutely excited about!). Since I didn't have enough time I just threw in whatever I saw on the fridge to fill in my stomach before I conquer the day. This recipe is super easy and quick! It's perfect when you don't have enough time to eat breakfast, you can just make this smoothie, put it in a nice bottle and drink it on your way to work. I really love this smoothie because it's so yummy, the mangoes were sweet enough to turn into a smoothie, the oats and soy milk helped to fill my stomach and it's really good for your health. You get all the good stuff you need for a morning grind.

To make this mango oats breakfast smoothie, you'll be needing the following:

  • Ripe Mangoes
  • Your preferred milk, mine is Soy Milk
  • Oats, I prefer banana flavor Quaker Oats
  • Ice cubes
  • Refined sugar/sweetener, I used Sufree Stevia Sweetener for a much healthier smoothie!
  • A glass or a bottle, I used my new mason jar that came with my Sufree gift bag

How to make:

Just put the ripe mangoes, soy milk, oats and ice cubes in the blender. Blend it for two minutes then add the sugar. Blend it again until it's thick and smooth. Transfer the smoothie into your preferred glass or bottle and you're good to go! I also added some mint leaves on top for extra flavor. :)
