Street Food Festival Grand Finale

Growing up, I was the only one in our family who is fond of street foods. I enjoy eating ihaw-ihaw with my friends. Kwek-kwek, isaw, lugaw sa baso, bato-bato & barbecue were my favorite merienda during college. I remember, my block mates and I would sneak out from our class just to catch the famous turo-turo outside school. I haven't eaten street foods for months now and I miss it as much as I miss my college friends. Street food actually reminds me of the fun times I've had in college where my friends and I would chip in our money to buy a lot of street food and eat it together. Those were the days that I miss so much. Everything was so simple and just a bowl full of kwek-kwek and a glass of sago't gulaman can make up for the crappy day we've had in school.
Being invited to witness the rich street food culture here in the Philippines was truly a privilege. SM Hypermarket, my go-to place for all things concerning to food had a collaboration with different brands to showcase great deals and promos to help us recreate our favorite street food at home. There were more than 40 booths with awesome deals and scrumptious food.
I really enjoyed going around, seeing different kinds of street food and tried a lot of them too! I wish I brought my friends with me, they would've enjoyed going through each booth and hoarding all the free samples. :p
